  • Overview

    The Attendant is primarily responsible for providing quality customer service; maintaining of the lagoon/pool area to include an inflatable water slide and aquatic playground,  if applicable; and providing a safe, clean and comfortable environment.  


     • Ensures the “WTS International Experience” for guests by maintaining the standards set in WTS’ Basics to Excellence (BTE), WTS International Mission Statement/Values; Standards and Expectations, and WTS International Brand Standards.
    • Adheres to policies of WTS International.
    • Maintains the cleanliness and order of the facility to include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, and taking out the trash.
    • Ensures all rules are being adhered to by residents, guests and members in the waterslide, beach areas, aquatic playground and lagoon.
    • Ensures that residents, guests and members have the appropriate wristband on for daily entry and reports delinquencies to supervisor.
    • Restocks all paper products in restroom facilities and appropriate guest areas around the pool.
    • Removes lost and found items from restrooms, beaches, docks, general grounds of the lagoon etc. and returns them to the lost and found station.
    • Responsible for maintaining clean beach areas to include but not limited to straightening of beach chairs, cleaning of tiki huts, cleaning of cabanas, raking of the beach areas.
    • Assists with the cleaning and sanitizes of all wet areas, bathrooms, and grooming areas throughout the day.
    • Distributes appropriate rental item to renter. (i.e. paddleboard, boat, kayak, etc.)
    • Escorts residents, members and guests, as needed, to changing areas in a courteous and timely manner.
    • Explains, as needed, the set-up and workings of the waterslide, aquatic playground, beach areas, loungers, tiki hut areas, cabanas and restrooms to everyone who enters the facility.
    • Ensures all areas are clean and replenishes supplies as needed.
    • Becomes knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities in order to effectively communicate with residents, members and guests.
    • Reports any incident or accident to management.
    • Greets each and every guest with a smile and direct eye contact.
    • Informs facility management of any member, guest, or facility issues.
    • Assists staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to help maintain facility and prepare for special events and activities.
    • Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe environment, including, but not limited, to the lagoon/pool deck, water slide, and aquatic playground, if applicable.
    • Follows the daily opening and closing procedures of the pool/lagoon
    • Works with pool attendants as a team to monitor the pool area.
    • Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with all team members before, after and during shift.
    • Other duties as assigned


     • Previous customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
    • Ability to have conversations with members/guest so that information that is conveyed is understood.
    • Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously
    • Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.
    • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
    • Strong team player.
    • Must be able to keep calm and composed while under pressure.
    • Lifegaurd certification a plus
    • CPR & First aid certification a plus
    • Availability When Facility Is Open:  This will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ability to stand for long periods.
    • Ability to be outside in the elements to include extreme heat, humidity, wind, and rain.
    • Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently and 10 pounds of force constantly to move light objects.
    • This position required the ability to balance, stoop, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift and carry.
    • This position will require the following physical requirements:  fingering, grasping, repetitive motions, seeing, hearing, and visual acuity.
    • The employee will be required to operate the following tools: mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, beach rake and golf cart
    • The employee may be required to be exposed to noise, chemical and mechanical hazards.
    • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
    • Employee must be willing to obtain CPR, First Aid & AED certification within the first 30 days of employment.
    • Employee must be willing to obtain a lifeguard certification within the first 90 days of employment.
